What this is
These terms cover partyirl.com and the PartyIRL web and mobile applications (together, the “Services”), operated by Yolk Labs. By using the Services or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist reserves nothing and guarantees nothing — not access, not launch timing, not a spot in your city. We’ll do our best to make it worth the wait, but the product, its features, and its availability may change or be discontinued at any time.
Acceptable use
Don’t abuse the site: no scraping, spamming the signup form, probing our infrastructure, or submitting other people’s email addresses without their permission.
The app & real-world events
When the PartyIRL app launches, these additional terms apply:
- Your content. You own what you post (events, photos, descriptions). You give us a license to host and display it so the product can work.
- Events are organized by users, not by us. PartyIRL is a platform. We don’t host, run, supervise, or vet events or attendees. You attend events at your own risk, and you’re responsible for your own safety and conduct. Hosts are responsible for their events, including complying with laws and any venue rules.
- Conduct. No harassment, no illegal activity, no fake events or fake check-ins, no using the Services to harm others.
- Accounts. Keep your credentials safe; you’re responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Our stuff
The PartyIRL name, logo, design, and site content belong to Yolk Labs. Don’t copy or use them commercially without written permission.
No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yolk Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services — including anything that happens at or in connection with a user-organized event. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to $100.
Assignment
We may assign these terms — for example, to a future PartyIRL entity or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Yolk Labs is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
