These terms cover partyirl.com and the PartyIRL web and mobile applications (together, the “Services”), operated by Yolk Labs. By using the Services you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Services.
PartyIRL is free to use. Features may change, and the Services may be modified or discontinued at any time.
PartyIRL is a platform. We don’t host, run, supervise, fund, insure, or vet events, venues, hosts, or attendees, and we don’t verify that an event is real or that it will happen. You attend events at your own risk, and you’re responsible for your own safety and conduct.
If you host, the event is yours. You’re responsible for complying with the law and any venue rules — including anything to do with alcohol, capacity, noise, accessibility, permits, and ticketing — and for how you treat your guests.
Hosting gives you access to information about the people who RSVP: their names, their answers to questions you write, and who checked in at the door. Use it to run your event and nothing else. Don’t sell it, don’t add people to mailing lists they didn’t ask for, and don’t ask for information you don’t need — in particular, don’t use custom questions to collect government IDs, payment details, or health information.
You own what you post — events, descriptions, photos, comments. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, and display it so the Services can work, including showing an event’s poster in link previews when someone shares it. That license ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared with others and reasonable backups.
Only post what you have the right to post. Don’t upload other people’s photos or artwork without permission.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Services with no obligation to you and no confidentiality. Please don’t send us anything you consider secret.
You can report an event or a comment from the page it’s on. We may review content, including automatically, and we may remove content, unlist or archive an event, or suspend an account that breaks these rules or creates risk for other people — sometimes without notice when the situation calls for it. We’re not obligated to monitor content, and removing something isn’t an admission that we reviewed everything else.
If you use our API or MCP server, keep your keys secret, stay within the published rate limits, and only access data the key’s owner is entitled to. We may revoke a key at any time. Don’t use the API to build a copy of PartyIRL, to resell access, or to compile a database of our users.
You can stop using the Services whenever you like and ask us to delete your account at support@yolklabs.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections that should survive — content licenses already granted, disclaimers, limits on liability, and governing law — do.
The PartyIRL name, logo, design, and site content belong to Yolk Labs. Don’t copy or use them commercially without written permission.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that a text or email will arrive, or that any event listed will happen as described.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yolk Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including anything that happens at or in connection with a user-organized event. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to $100.
We may assign these terms, for example, to a future PartyIRL entity or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Yolk Labs is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
